Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its much-awaited Uttar Pradesh state organizational team under newly appointed state president Pankaj Chaudhary. The list, finalized after extensive consultations between the party’s central leadership in Delhi and state leaders in Lucknow, includes a broad mix of experienced politicians, organizational leaders, and representatives from various social groups.
The new structure features 19 state vice-presidents, 8 general secretaries, 18 state ministers, six regional presidents, office-bearers for media and organizational affairs, and presidents of various party fronts (morchas).
Among the prominent names appointed as state vice-presidents are Suresh Rana, Neeraj Singh, Pooja Pal, Priyanka Rawat and Archana Mishra. The appointments are being viewed as an attempt to balance caste, regional and organizational representation ahead of upcoming political challenges in the state.
Vice-Presidents
The party has named 19 vice-presidents: Suresh Rana, Satyapal Saini, Braj Bahadur, Dharmendra Singh, Mohit Beniwal, Devesh Kori, Priyanka Rawat, Durvijay Shakya, Ramesh Singh, Neeraj Singh, Archana Mishra, Pooja Pal, Shankar Giri, Kameshwar Singh, Kritika Agarwal, Suresh Maurya, Rajesh Yadav, Krishna Bihari Rai and Alok Gupta.
General Secretaries
Eight leaders have been appointed as state general secretaries: Ram Pratap Singh Chauhan, Geeta Shakya, Abhijat Mishra, Upendra Rawat, Sanjay Rai, Shankar Lodhi, Dilip Patel and Rajesh Chaudhary.
State Ministers
The list of state ministers includes Vijay Shivhare, Basant Tyagi, Shivbhushan Singh, Sahjanand Rai, Ankur Sharma, Anil Yadav, Avadhesh Srivastava, Vijay Rajbhar, Pramendra Jangra Vishwakarma, Kiran Lodhi Nishad, Rakesh Bind, Sanchita Singh Chauhan (Lunia), Rajni Pandey, Rahul Valmiki, Mahamedha Nagar, Deepmala Santoshi, Suhasini Jaiswal, Yatendra Sharma and Akanksha Sonkar.

Regional Presidents
The BJP has also appointed six regional presidents to strengthen its grassroots structure:
- Nawab Singh Nagar – Western Region
- Puran Lal Lodhi – Braj Region
- Ram Kishore Sahu – Kanpur Region
- Avadhesh Dwivedi – Awadh Region
- Ashok Chaurasia – Kashi Region
- Vinod Rai – Gorakhpur Region
Office and Media Team
Bharat Dixit has been appointed Office Secretary, while Atul Awasthi and Laxman Singh will serve as Joint Office Secretaries.
For the party’s communication machinery, Dinesh Pratap Singh has been named Chief Spokesperson. Manish Dixit will serve as State Media Coordinator and Himanshu Raj Pandit as State Social Media Coordinator.
Morcha Presidents
The party also announced presidents for its various frontal organizations:
- Rohit Mishra – Youth Wing
- Prakash Pal – OBC Morcha
- Devendra Singh – Kisan Morcha
- Ashok Rawat – Scheduled Caste Morcha
- Saroj Kushwaha – Mahila Morcha
- Vidyabhushan Gond – Scheduled Tribe Morcha
The announcement comes after weeks of speculation over major organizational changes in Uttar Pradesh BJP. Earlier in the day, when asked by journalists about the pending list, Pankaj Chaudhary had urged patience. Within hours, the final organizational structure was released.
Party sources indicated that the names were finalized after several rounds of discussions involving the BJP’s central leadership, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and state president Pankaj Chaudhary. The new team is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the party’s organizational network and preparing for upcoming electoral battles in the country’s most politically significant state.
